Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 14, 2026 • Saurav Apparel Manufacturing

1. Scope of Agreement

These Commercial Terms & Conditions govern all garment sampling, manufacturing orders, private labeling services, and export deliveries provided by Saurav Apparel Manufacturing to buyer clients.

2. Sampling & Pre-Production Approval (PP Sample)

Before mass bulk cutting commences, a physical Pre-Production (PP) sample is provided for Buyer review and written sign-off. Bulk fabric milling and production will only start upon receipt of written PP approval or digital swatch confirmation.

3. Quality Standards & Tolerances (AQL 2.5)

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in a bilateral master purchase agreement, all shipments adhere to the internationally recognized ISO 2859-1 (AQL 2.5) sampling standard for major defects and AQL 4.0 for minor defects. Standard dimensional tolerance across garment measurements is ±1.0 cm to ±1.5 cm depending on textile stretch and knit elasticity.

4. Fabric Dyeing & Color Matching

Pantone (TPX/TCX) shades are matched under D65 standard daylight lightboxes with a Spectrophotometer tolerance of Delta E < 0.8. Due to organic fiber variance, slight batch-to-batch shading within international textile tolerance (4-5 on grey scale) is standard.

5. Payment & Commercial Terms

Standard international B2B export terms require:

  • 30% advance deposit upon Purchase Order (PO) sign-off to initiate fabric milling and trim acquisition.
  • 70% balance payment prior to vessel handover or against presentation of original Bill of Lading (B/L) and third-party inspection report (SGS / Intertek / Bureau Veritas).
  • Irrevocable confirmed Letter of Credit (LC at sight) is accepted for contract values exceeding $50,000 USD.

6. Shipping & Incoterms

Default pricing quotes are based on FOB Hazira / Nhava Sheva (Mumbai) Port, India. CIF and door-to-door DDP air freight can be arranged through our licensed international freight forwarders upon Buyer request.

7. Intellectual Property & Brand Protection

The Buyer warrants that all trademarks, logos, and graphic prints submitted for manufacture belong to the Buyer or are duly licensed. Saurav retains no ownership rights over Buyer designs and will never produce over-runs or sell Buyer merchandise to third parties.
